Mufasa is the first named king of the Pridelands. He is the eldest son of Uru and Ahadi. He is the father of Simba and the older brother of Scar.
Mufasa was killed in a wildebeest stampede due to his brother throwing him off the slope. He was a wise, noble, and very powerful king. Although, he carried himself with the grace and nobility expected of a king, he was shown to have a healthy sense of humor.
